Santa Giulia, Patron Saint of Livorno
The Patron Saint of Livorno is Santa Giulia and her feast day is 22nd May which is a local holiday. On that date the nighttime rowing race known as the "Coppa Santa Giulia" takes place along the canals.
The Church of Santa Giulia is located between the Cathedral and the fruit and vegetable market, in Via Santa Giulia. The saint is also the patron of the French island of Corsica.
