Visions of a contemporary art gallery in Livorno - a future possibility?Associazione Divisione was set up by a group of friends from diverse artistic backgrounds, with a common passion for the arts and the shared objective of promoting and sustaining all forms of artistic expression, from music to painting, sculpture, design and crafts, video and film production, both within Italy and abroad. It aims to encourage and develop interest in art, beauty and the appreciation of beauty, intelligence and ancient arts and crafts.
The association also aims to expose the Authorities' lack of funding and space for the arts and cultural heritage, and to highlight a general social and cultural decay in this field.

The Association's ultimate wish is to be able to set up a television channel dedicated entirely to the promotion of the arts, run by the artists themselves, without mediators or filters.

Associazione Divisione is led by artist, designer and musician Luca Vinciguerra, backed by artist and sculptor Antonio Vinciguerra, artist Francesco Baronti, art dealer Mario Serboli, illustrator and cartoonist Maurizio Fontanelli, artist Federico Cavallini, sculptor Filippo Quochi, designer Federico Bocci, musicians Sinfonico Honolulu, artist Mauro Rossetti, artist Rossella Bessi, artist Maurizio Baronti, art critic Cristina Olivieri, sculptor Anita Bayron, dj and performer Marco Tonci, drummer Filippo Lampredi, guitarist and songwriter Giovanni Cartei, and art dealer and promoter Carla Castellana.
