To mark the beginning of three days of cultural goings-on in Livorno, the Diversamente Liberi festival, in the foyer of the Teatro Goldoni, the inauguration of an exhibition of the photographs chosen as winners of the Diversamente Liberi competition, organised by the Teatro del Porto. The theme of the competition is Dare I Numeri. The twenty finalists will be judged by a jury headed by Oliviero Toscani. The first prize is a three-day workshop at Toscani's La Sterpaia centre.

The Diversamente Liberi festival continues with three days of events dedicated to young performers and artists who will have a chance to freely express their talents in Livorno's streets and piazzas. For further information see the separate entries in the What's On pages.

All photos entered into the competition will be projected at the Fortezza Vecchia, Livorno, 9th May at 11.30pm, to mark the opening of The Cage Club summer season.
