Novecento, Atto Terzo, dal Liberty al Contemporaneo, at Le Stanze Gallery, 24 November 2012The third in a series of exhibitions dedicated to 20th century art opens on 24th November 2012 at the Le Stanze gallery in Via Roma, Livorno. The exhibition focusses on the various artistic currents that have distinguished Tuscan art from the late 1800s to current times - Macchia, Liberty, Divisionismo, Labronici, Astrattismo - with particular emphasis on the Liberty style.

The very first edition of the Pisa Food & Wine Festival coming up this weekend, starting on Friday 23rd November 2012 and ending on Sunday 25th November.

The event will present 30 local food producers and their products - including pasta, honey, biscuits, salami, cheese, olive oil, wine and chocolate - , and 12 chefs demonstrating their recipes using 0km ingredients.

The exhibition dedicated to Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky continues at the Palazzo Blu, Pisa, until 3rd February 2013.

This play - originally entitled Le Dieu du Carnage - was written by French playwright Yasmina Reza and was first performed in Zurich in 2006. It has since been made into a film ("Carnage") by Roman Polanski, starring Jodie Foster.

The Teatro Vertigo presents their own production of Carnage, directed by Rebecca Luparini, on Saturday 17th November 2012 at 9.30pm, and on Sunday 18th November 2012 at 5.30pm
