Fortezza Festival

Four days of live music and cabaret in Livorno's monumental Fortezza Vecchia, Twenty events organised by the Centro Artistico Il Grattacielo
The programme begins on Thursday 3rd June 2010 with cabaret from Michele Crestacci at 8pm. Also on Thursday, at 10pm, the Caciuk Orchestra Multietnica. Highlights on Friday June 4th include the latest production from Argentinian actor and director César Brie (9pm) and live music from Niki La Rosa (9pm), and the very successful Livorno band Virginiana Miller who kick off their coming tour with this date. Saturday 5th June - theatre from Giorgio Rossi, with Scarpe (8.30pm), followed by music from two more Livorno bands the Jackie-O's Farm and Bad Love Experience (whose music appeared on Paolo Virzì's recent film, La Prima Cosa Bella)(9.30pm). On Sunday 6th June, Livorno band Carneigra play at 10pm.
Tickets cost 10 euros. All four evenings for 25 euros.
