It's the weekly Livorno lottery draw

Like a magician who thought he had lost his rabbit, Tavano managed to pull it out of the hat right at the last minute. For a team at the top that had been given a target of 9 points for the games this week by Spinelli, a return of 2 so far is not good. As a result, the Amaranto have slipped down the table and now lie third, outside of the automatic promotion spots. They may not be losing many games, but they are not winning many either.

Against Cittadella they managed to draw a game they should have won easily, but away to Rimini, at least they kept going and equalised with almost the last kick of the game. The defence is one of the best in the league and they are the second highest scorers, but individual errors are forcing these results.

Against Rimini, Bonetto was the individual who let the Rimini striker get the other side of him and fire home from a tight angle. However, the Amaranto did enough to win the game and Cellerino, who completed his first 90 minutes, had a good opportunity in the first half and a clear header after a well worked free kick in the second. The lads persevered and Tavano fired home a left foot shot in the dying seconds to rescue a point.

All eyes now turn to Saturday's home game with Ancona to see if these draws can eventually become a win.
