Mandrake

MandrakeMandrakeMandrake is a 5-piece band from Livorno, formed in the Spring of 2010 by Giorgio Mannucci (formerly of The Walrus). Mannucci brought together a group of musicians of varied backgrounds, who came to meet via the internet.
Mandrake mixes folk with classical, pop with traditional. They were also finalists in the Tuscan heats of the 2010 Italia Wave contest.
The Mandrake band members have recently finished recording their first album, “Zarastro”, produced at Ice Factory Production, Livorno by Tommaso Bandecchi, released December 2011.
