Steve Sperguenzie

Steve SperguenzieSteve Sperguenzie is no newcomer to the music scene. He started performing after witnessing a Fuzztones concert in Florence, impressed by the band’s lead singer Rudi Protrudi.

Throughout his musical career he has been faithful to Psychedelic rock and strongly influenced by Arthur Lee (Love), The Doors, The Seeds and his idols The Rolling Stones.

Jagger sound-alike Steve formed the first line-up of his band, The Incredible Lysergic Ants in 1987. Together they have made several recordings including the cd 5 Investigators (1999 Toast Records), The Bright Rump of the Toad (mini-cd), Hannibal the Cannibal (single), The News Today will be the Movies for Tomorrow (mini-cd), and The Magic Fifer (single).

Currently involved as vocalist in the ukulele band Sinfonico Honolulu, Steve is also writing new material with London-based guitarist Giovanni Cartei (Kick in the Teeth).
