The Chromosomes began as a trio in 1993 as a Ramones-style punk band singing in English, progressing to Italian lyrics and a wider range of music as their experience as a live act grew. Their music these days derives from a mixture of influences ranging from the Ramones to the Beach Boys and heavy rock.
