Can You Identify This Artist?

SweetheartSweetheartHello Livorno, I would appreciate if someone could decipher the signature at the bottom of the the picture entitled "Sweetheart" and identify the name. My father-in-law had the picture drawn of his sweetheart (now wife) when he was in Livorno while serving in the U.S. Army in 1945. Thanks for any help and leads.
