Ferry in the Port of LivornoThere are good direct rail and road links into Livorno from all areas, and there is an airport in Pisa just a few miles away. There is also a bus service connecting Livorno and Pisa. Ferries leave the port of Livorno for the islands of Capraia, Sardinia and Corsica (France). Once in Livorno, there is a good local bus service, although buses are very infrequent after about 9pm. There are two taxi companies, and main taxi ranks in central Piazza Grande and at the station.You can hire a car at one of the many car rental offices.
