From the last stop on the LAM blu service (Miramare) you can walk further south along the main road for about 200m to a path down to two stony beaches (one is called Bagno Schiuma) with sunbeds for hire – take rubber shoes!

Non-city buses
To go further south of Livorno, to Calafuria and the Romito (the rocky beaches): bus no. 102, from Via Grande – tickets from the CTT office in Largo Duomo, behind the cathedral. Departs about every 30 minutes from stop number 5.

To go north of Livorno to Calambrone, Tirrenia and Marina di Pisa: bus for Pisa, no. 10-20, every 30 minutes from Piazza della Repubblica (at the end of Via Grande, to the left, in front of the bar). Tickets also from Largo Duomo ticket office.

The best way to find the bus times and stops is by using Google Maps.

All bus tickets must be validated on board the bus.
