Registration is now open for the seventh edition of the PREMIO COMBAT PRIZE, an international contest that aims at the continuous search for different paths and talents by which contemporary art is characterised.
As usual, the Museo Fattori of Livorno will host a final exhibition of the 80 finalists which this year will take place from 25th June to 16th July 2016. This edition of the competition sees the addition of a new prize, the Fattori Contemporaneo, the winner of which will have his or her own personal exhibition at the Museo Fattori in Livorno, as well as the publication of a catalogue.
The competition also includes two artist-in-residence schemes, one in Florence, at the prestigious Fondazione Il Bisonte, and another in Belgrade, at the Cultural Centre of Belgrade, where artists will be invited to develop an in situ project. At the end of the residence, the artworks will be displayed in Florence and in the Serbian capital, whose cultural and artistic scene is proving to be one of the most lively and exciting in Europe.
